Welcome to York Motor Yacht Club
Our Motor Yacht Club is situated on the Yorkshire Ouse at Fulford, just a mile downstream of the beautiful city of York with its historical and social attractions.
Our members all have a common interest in motorboating and our club house provides a superb riverside location for our various boating and social activities.
Alongside the riverbank we have both permanent moorings and visitors moorings for our non-mooring members. The moorings all have water and electricity and can provide a safe mooring for Winter if required.
Our members have a wealth of boating experience between them and are always willing to help new members enjoy their cruising.
It’s a superbly located club, friendly and relaxed, with a great programme of social events throughout the season. but equally somewhere you can enjoy at your own pace. On a Friday or Saturday, you can make the most of the Club or simply leave your boat and take a short walk into York to enjoy everything the city has to offer.
If you’re looking to spend more time on the water in a great location, the Club is well worth considering. We’re always pleased to welcome new members. Family boating membership is just £180 per year (plus a £100 joining fee), exceptional value for a secure mooring, quality facilities and a riverside setting within easy reach of York city centre.
