Members of the Club, their guests and visitors who are members of another boat club may use the Club premises and any other facilities of the Club, entirely at their own risk and impliedly accept;
The Club will not accept any liability for any damage to or loss of property belonging to members, guests and visitors.
The Club will not accept any liability for personal injury arising out of the use of the Club premises or any other facilities of the Club, either sustained by members, guests and visitors or caused by the said members, guests and visitors, whether or not such damage or injury could have been attributed to or was occasioned by the neglect, default or negligence of any of them, the Officers, Committee, Trustees or Servants of the Club.
VISITORS FROM OTHER BOAT CLUBS
As our visitor moorings are restricted in length we would be grateful if members from visiting boat clubs could follow our mooring guidelines. Please see here to view them.
YMYC FIRE PROCEDURES
IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE IN THE CLUB HOUSE.
IF THE CLUB IS IN ‘BAR OPENING HOURS’ THE BELL WILL BE RUNG BEHIND THE BAR.
PLEASE EVACUATE THE CLUB HOUSE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
IF SAFE, PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL CHILDREN ARE OUT OF THE FAMILY ROOM.
IF SAFE, CHECK THAT THERE IS NO ONE IN THE GALLEY, TOILETS OR SHOWER.
LEAVE CALMLY BY THE NEAREST FIRE EXIT HELPING ANYONE WITH DIFFICULTIES.
FIRE EXITS ARE :
THE BACK DOOR BY THE BAR
OR
THE MAIN FRONT DOOR TO THE CLUB HOUSE
ASSEMBLE IN THE ‘ENTRANCE CAR PARK’ BY THE WATER PUMP BUILDING
TRY TO ESTABLISH IF ALL ARE PRESENT.
CALL 999 – THE FIRE SERVICE AND ENSURE THAT THE MAIN GATE IS OPEN FOR THEM TO GAIN ACCESS.
YMYC PLAY GROUND EQUIPMENT
Members/Parents/Guardians need to be aware that children must be supervised at all times whilst using this equipment.
These facilities are provided by the club, but all members or visitors children, use this equipment at their own risk.
PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK
This equipment is checked on a monthly basis, but if you become aware of any defects to the play equipment please contact the Grounds or Compliance Chair immediately.
VISITORS PONTOONS – CHILDREN UNDER 12
Please be aware that ALL CHILDREN UNDER 12 must wear a lifejacket at all times whilst they are on or using the Visitors Pontoons. The use of the YMYC Visitors Moorings is at your own risk and all boats using these pontoons must carry third party insurance.
